Our Ethos

We are passionate about reconnecting with nature to improve mental health and wellbeing, to support the holistic development of individuals, and to raise happy and resilient communities. We understand that everyone is different, with varying needs and challenges, and tailor our projects to provide the best support. Our work is all underpinned by our foundation’s values:

Respect

We value the people we work with and the environments where our sessions take place. Respect means treating others as we wish to be treated, understanding and celebrating both our similarities and differences. Respecting nature is key to fostering a culture of conservation, ensuring we protect ecosystems and preserve the earth for future generations.

Equity

We act impartially, without favouritism or discrimination. Equity guides us to ensure accessibility and take action against discrimination. By offering individualised support, we make our services accessible to all, taking steps to address different needs and remove barriers to learning.

Holism

We recognise that systems consist of interconnected parts that rely on the whole. Our holistic approach to education supports the comprehensive development of individuals. By creating learning environments that foster holistic growth, we help participants build confidence, resilience, and interpersonal skills while developing new abilities. We also teach them to appreciate the interconnectedness of the natural world and the systems that sustain life on earth.

Community

We grow interdependently with others and the world around us, sharing collective values and responsibilities. Community helps us uplift one another and share challenges, enabling participants to form strong friendships that provide nourishment and support. Sharing fosters a culture of cooperation and mutual aid, creating networks that extend beyond the boundaries of our sessions.
