Our Alternative Provision offers a nurturing, nature-based approach for children and young people aged 8 and over who need support beyond the classroom. Whether home educated, flexi-schooled, or in school, we provide a safe and enriching woodland environment where they can reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them.
Who Is It For?
We support children and young people aged 8+ who may be:
- Home educated and in need of additional support or social connection
- Flexi-schooled or attending school but struggling with the demands of the classroom
- Experiencing school-based anxiety, emotionally based school avoidance, or burnout
- Neurodivergent and requiring a calm, sensory-aware, nature-based setting
Our provision is designed to be flexible and child-led, offering a consistent, supportive space where young people can feel safe, seen, and empowered to grow in their own time.
What We Offer
- Small group and 1:1 sessions in our woodland space, tailored to individual needs
- A trauma-informed, relationship-based approach that prioritises emotional safety
- Nature-based, hands-on learning that supports confidence, resilience, and communication
- Flexible engagement, working alongside EHCPs, support plans, or school strategies where needed
Working in Partnership
We work collaboratively with families, schools, and local authorities to ensure our provision fits each child’s broader support plan. We offer regular check-ins and termly progress reports to keep communication open and aligned.
A Safe Space to Reconnect
For many young people, the woods become a place of peace, possibility, and belonging. Whether they’re with us for a short time or on a longer journey, we’re here to provide connection, consistency, and care, with no pressure to be anything other than themselves.
